According to Ayurveda, health is defined as a state where the three Doshas remain in perfect balance. Any disturbance in this equilibrium leads to the onset of disease.
रोगस्तु दोषवैषम्यं, दोषसाम्यं अरोगता।
Before understanding any disease in detail, it is essential to recognize the early signs and symptoms that the body exhibits when the Doshas become imbalanced. Identifying these subtle imbalances at an early stage empowers us to address them effectively, preventing the progression toward illness.
As the well-known saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure.” Understanding and managing these initial signs helps maintain harmony and promotes long-term health.
